Organizational Greenhouse Gas Emission Targets and Measures

The factory emitted 18,045 tons of carbon in 2021 which is a huge decrease of 3,219 tons compared to the 21,264 tons of carbon in 2020.

The factory has set a goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% compared to 2020 levels by 2030, and has developed a series of emission reduction measures to achieve this target.

Non-conflict minerals policy

Minerals such as 3TG( The abbreviation of Tantalum, Tungsten and Gold) and Cobalt that are from conflict areas or high-risk areas, through smuggling trade, controlled by non-government armed force or illegal military faction, are considered as conflict minerals.

Chenmko require all the suppliers to obligate the Responsible Business Alliance(RBA) Code of Conduct, only purchase ingredients from businesses that are responsible for the environment and the society. All the suppliers are not allowed to purchase and use conflict minerals, and must purchase minerals from smelters and refineries that are certified and listed by the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) (http://www.responsiblemineralsinitiative.org). Smelters and refineries that are not certified by the RMAP will be immediately removed from the supply chain.


Supplier Requirements

We require suppliers if conflict minerals are used in Chenmko products, suppliers are responsible of informing Chenmko immediately and providing alternative solutions. Also, suppliers will be asked to take rectification measures. Suppliers will not be allowed to supply any products until the measures have reached the requirements of non-conflict minerals policy. Products that have involved conflict minerals will be treated as unqualified products. We ask all of our suppliers includes supply chain to do a business investigation annually, to make sure the sources of the minerals are not considered as conflict minerals.

Due to our main change management policy, any modifications (add/remove) of smelters and refineries within the supply chain will need to inform us with certified RMI report(CMRT) or other reports reached the requirements of IPC-1755 standard. Suppliers, mineral processors, mining companies need to follow the standards of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to manage policies and procedures.
